Hey, friends! I’m Lydia, the face behind the camera! I am a colorado photographer based out of denver that is obsessed with capturing nostalgic moments and making heartfelt connections with my clients and their loved ones. I am someone who adamantly believes the best images come from presence, not posing. My goal is to create moments that tell an entire story with just one image while laughing and just having the absolute best time during our session. this means showing up with calm energy, an observant eye, and a genuine love for witnessing the small, unspoken things that make your relationship yours. Outside of photography, some of my favorite pastimes include craft and wine nights with my favorite gals, cooking new recipes with my fiancé, planning our next international trip, and spending cozy weekends with our four-legged child, Gunner. when i’m not behind the camera…
where it all began…
It all started in 2020 with a simple need for fresh air. I picked up my first 'real' camera to document the rugged beauty of the Colorado wilderness—a creative outlet that kept me grounded during a literal whirlwind of a year. A couple of years later, everything shifted. Some friends asked me to capture their engagement, and the moment I saw their connection through my lens, I was hooked. I realized that while landscapes are beautiful, there is nothing quite as breathtaking as a quiet, honest moment between people and their loved ones. After photographing my first elopement in early 2023, I knew I had found my calling. It is truly my greatest honor to be invited into your inner circle and document the start of your forever.
